IMPORTANT!

Dear MyAsthma user,

As of 31 January 2019, MyAsthma app will no longer be available to use and GSK will no longer support it. As a consequence, any data stored or provided through the app including weather, pollen etc. will cease to be available.
In advance of the date above, we recommend you back-up any information you have within MyAsthma by going to the settings menu (gear icon), then scrolling down to the button "Export your data". This will provide you with an export of all data you have entered into the app. Once you have completed this, we finally recommend that you delete the app from your device.

Once the MyAsthma services are terminated, GSK will permanently anonymise your personal information that is held within GSK's database - this was information you shared that was needed for MyAsthma to function. This information will be retained, but no information that would enable anyone to trace it back to you as an individual will be kept. This is in-line with the terms of use and privacy notice for MyAsthma.

We are incredibly grateful for your support and feedback on the MyAsthma app and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The MyAsthma application (app) is for patients (or their carers) living with asthma. The app is designed to help patients understand their asthma by providing environmental and lifestyle information that may be relevant to their condition, together with data indicating the status of their asthma. Patients or their carers have the ability to check and track their asthma control by using the Asthma Control Test (ACT) or the Childhood Asthma Control Test (C-ACT) as appropriate within the app, and they can export information from the app to share with their healthcare professional if they choose to do so.

The app is not intended to diagnose asthma or provide advice on medicines as this is the responsibility of the patients’ healthcare professionals.
